At Authentic, we believe that every individual should have the opportunity to create the birthing experience that aligns with their values and desires, which is why we offer comprehensive support to help navigate all the financial details.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We understand that finances are high on the list of priorities when you are planning to add a little one to your family. Therefore, we will ensure that you have the resources and information you need to make empowered choices for yourself and your growing family. We are committed to full transparency, providing as much information as we can prior to the beginning of your care.

Authentic works with nearly all insurances and health share ministry programs. Our midwives are currently in-network providers with United Healthcare, UMR, Aetna, and The Alliance. We will submit bills to ANY private insurance carrier, however, coverage with these carriers is at the out-of-network level.
Authentic midwives are also proud to accept Wisconsin’s BadgerCare insurance to cover midwifery fees. In the state of Wisconsin, however, birth center facility fees are not yet covered by the BadgerCare program, so facility fees are an out-of-pocket expense.

We also serve families that choose a self-pay option. Your out-of-pocket costs for your provider services (prenatal care, labor and birth, and postpartum care with our team of midwives) is $5,000. Your facility fee for use of the birth center throughout your prenatal care and during your labor, birth, and postpartum period is $3,725. Lab work, ultrasounds, and any additional required or desired testing is billed separately. If this is your situation, we will work with you to ensure you understand your financial responsibilities and offer you a clearly defined payment plan throughout your pregnancy
VERIFICATION OF BENEFITS
We understand how confusing insurance can be, so we offer professional insurance billing services to properly bill your claims for the best possible chances of insurance reimbursement. Integrity Billing Group specializes in midwifery and birth center billing and will review your benefits to give you an honest assessment of your payment options, explain realistic out of pocket costs, and highlight any distinct features of your insurance that may help or hinder your billing process. Integrity is available to you throughout your pregnancy and beyond, ensuring clear and concise billing practices to greatly reduce financial confusion.

Please click the link below to fill out the verification form and email it to Integrity Billing Group along with a copy of the FRONT AND BACK of your insurance card(s). Integrity Billing Group will follow up within a few business days with a thorough verification of your benefits and a realistic idea of your out-of-pocket financial costs. There is a $30 cost for this Verification of Benefits (you will be invoiced directly by Integrity Billing Group), and once completed, you will have their contact information for any additional questions or clarifications.
